Floral Design

The Floral Design Committee promotes interest and educates all club members, regardless of expertise and experience, in the art of floral design. Its purpose is to encourage all club members to participate in floral design activities, enhance the quality of the Floral Design Division in all flower shows, and share the beauty and artistry of this discipline.

Botanical Arts is an optional division in a GCA flower show. Exhibits showcase craftsmanship, excellence in design, and are constructed of all dried plant material. 

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting club flower shows and encouraging members to participate.
• Conducting flower arranging classes and workshops for club members.
• Identifying talented and qualified horticulturists and flower arrangers and encourage them to participate in flower shows and serve as clerks and flower show committee members.
